This profile of the Village of Gibsonburg outlines our Village and the great quality of life that we enjoy as a vital part of Sandusky County.

Gibsonburg is represented by a Village Council that prides itself on being innovative and progressive to insure that Gibsonburg continues as a full-service community.  This strong leadership has planned for the Village's future by maintaining an active Planning Commission to enhance our growth potential.

Our community has a long rich agricultural history.  Services in our community are provided by a variety of locally owned businesses.  Our children enjoy recognized public schools that are known for high quality.  Gibsonburg's citizens enjoy a high quality park system that includes everything from fishing to historical and fine art exhibits.

The citizens of Gibsonburg are not content to maintain the status quo.  We continuously establish high standards and achieve them with a great deal of regularity.  Economic development is the theme of my office, the Village Council and Community.  For example, we have established an Industrial Park in the Eastern portion of the Village and are working with a developer to assist in redevelopment of the former high school campus property.
